Glasses
Personal Project
My only pair of glasses irreparably broke the day before my graduation ceremony at WPI. I used my roommate’s 3D printer and some supplies I had lying around the house to deisgn and print comfortable glasses that would hold up for graduation photos and parental meet and greets.
This is a good example of rapidly iterative design on a tight deadline. The first iterations were focused on lens fit, then bridge fit, then temple interface, then the temple design. Once I was happy with the fit, I masked and spray-painted the frame to cover the red filament and add more of an aesthetic touch.
