Custom Knife Scales

After looking at custom scales (the decorative/ergonomic part of a knife handle) available online, I decided to design my own. This custom scale is designed for the Spyderco Ambitious and is made out of G10 FR-4. I first designed the scale in Inkscape and then laser cut the outline and through holes. After milling it, I laser-etched the pattern onto the scale. Finally, I dyed the scale using Rit plastic dye.
